The components contained in the equipment are of high quality and perform magnificent work on the surface to be treated without causing any danger. An example of safety is the transformer for high voltage production that contains a hose to avoid the accumulation of voltage in the machine.

Application mode

Arcojet equipment is used in the pretreatment of small plastic parts, especially plastic profiles in extrusion lines, parts machined in injection molding, cups and tubes before gluing and stamping. Treatment speeds of up to approximately 15 m / min can be covered. The Arcojet has a free jet electrode that does not require a counter electrode connected to ground.

The equipment can also be used in pulse or manual operation. Since in plasma pretreatment the distance to the substrate surface must be kept constant, we can supply guide rollers and a special insulating handle for manual operation.

How does the ink bond with the substrate?

The atmospheric plasma equipment contains a generator that produces a high voltage spark discharge which is transmitted from the electrode through the air on the surface to be treated. The plasma produced activates the plastic surfaces so that inks, lacquers, adhesives, etc. can be anchored on top of it.
