EFT is a PLC controlled automatic modular flamer designed for installation in industrial production lines. In addition, it is easily combinable with different burners to adapt to the needs of each client. It presents excellent results in the pre-treatment of metal, plastic, glass and cardboard surfaces.
How EFT works
EFT produces an ideal mixture of gas and air so that the flame produced in the burner activates the surface to be treated, increasing its surface energy. With this, a better adhesion of inks, lacquers and adhesives is achieved on the treated surface.
Components of EFT
Basically, it could be said that it consists of two parts: A cabinet where it houses the pneumatic and mechanical system and another cabinet where it houses the electrical system. It has been designed like this to facilitate the maintenance of the systems.
The pneumatic system is connected to the burner with a flexible hose that allows automatic movement of the burner by a robot (for automatic operation on a production line).
The pneumatic system cabinet has an integrated blower that supplies the air. This is adjustable, allowing the flame power to be adjusted from 30% to 100%. The mixture is monitored by means of a mass flow meter and together with the rest of the process parameters are digitized so that they are displayed on the control screen. Mix and power adjustment can be done through an external interface.
