Cheap Fine Steel FV Cliché for Pad Printing

The plates of stainless steel (strip), are less resistant, but have a slightly lower cost and can do up to 250,000 printing cycles. The thin clichés are also used with a support base (magnetic plate) in order to give them solidity and rigidity.

A steel sheet cliché is a sheet that is 0.5 millimeters (0.02 inches) thick, with a very fine surface, and a hardness between approximately 48 and 54 Rockwell. In the machine, the cliché is held well on the cliché holder, which is a metal plate. The advantage of the steel sheet cliché over a photopolymer one is that in the same cliché, sections of a motif can be hidden while other sections cannot. Also, engraving can be done in stages, that is, certain parts of a subject can be engraved more or less deeply than others.
